Today was Dewey’s first day of training with me. He’s a rescue dog struggling with dog aggression, but even on day one, the progress we’ve seen is incredible. 🐕
While the video may make it look like his issues are resolved, there’s still a long road ahead. This isn’t just about one session—it’s about consistent structure, ongoing work, and the dedication of those around him. Huge credit to the rescue home 🏡 who have taken Dewey on and are committed to seeing this through. I’ll continue to push him and guide him, but this is a team effort.
I truly hope Dewey is the first of many dogs we can help together. 🐾 Too often, people—sometimes even other trainers—say a dog is “too difficult” or “beyond saving.” That’s simply not true. With the right approach, patience, and understanding, every dog is trainable. Every dog can be saved. 🐕
No matter how tough the behaviour, it can be changed.
This is just the beginning for Dewey. Watch this space. 🐾
